Management Analysis of Sales (P&L grouped by Categories)

The Zoho Books Profit & Loss Statement is excellent for analyzing financial results from the Chart of Accounts. However, unless you create multiple accounts, the P&L does not breakdown by categories. Thus there are limitations to managerial information.
Using Zoho Analytics, it is possible to extract Sales Reports, matching totals to the P&L to ensure accuracy. These reports can then be grouped by any chosen Category, such as:
Sales Channel or Region
Salesperson
Product Type
Distribution Channel
Since P&L balancing supports the reports, they can be used for such tasks as calculating commissions or determining bulk customer rebates.
Once developed, Category reports can be added to your dashboard for Daily Updates on the aspects of your business that matter most. You could access this dashboard from Zoho Analytics, Zoho Books, Zoho CRM
